As You Like It Auditions

Wrestling. Deceit. Murder. Forests. Lovely Ladies. All this and more happens in Shakespeare’s comedy As You Like It.
Rosalind and Celia came for the wrestling match between Orlando and Charles, but leave with Rosalind and Orlando having fallen in love. But love must quickly take a back seat to survival. Fleeing to the forest to escape the angry Duke, the ladies run into Orlando, who is trying to stay alive when a murder plot is discovered. Rosalind takes the persona of a shepherd who will help “cure” Orlando of his love for Rosalind. Hilarity ensues when personas slip and no one is who they seem.
Be a part of what many consider a perfect Shakespeare comedy, as it has the fun and frivolity of his earliest work and the profundity of his later.
Auditions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 4. Callbacks will be the same day from 1 to 4 p.m. Both will be held at Stage Left Theatre, located at 108 West 3rd Ave.
